Our industrial design and mechanical engineering staff also create catheter handle designs which take the human factor into consideration. Our handle designs are built for superior functionality and easy operation.
Insert Molding
Insert molding as an assembly technique is an integral part of our development and production capability. Vertical and horizontal injection molding machines, utilizing easy to replace small master unit dies, allow quick changes and low cost steel tooling. Typical examples of this include:

Implants
Medical Murray’s specialized designs for delivering and releasing implants into the body have been created for sensors, stents, coils and urology catheters. Implant devices for drug delivery, vascular disease, cardiac abnormalities, urology and surgical attachment have been developed.
Bioabsorbable Materials
Medical Murray has extensive experience with bioabsorbable materials and applications. Custom polymer compounds are readily available from our partner, and our Nano molding machine allows molding small volumes of material (1 gram) which provides a minimized heat history. Products are also created from compression molding and braided or formed high strength bioabsorbable filaments.
