Phil is the President and founder of Medical Murray.
Phil holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering, an MS in material science, and an MBA. Phil offers a lifetime of experience in product development, analysis, design and manufacture of equipment and automation systems for a variety of electromechanical applications in the medical device, catheter, dental, and medical equipment industries. He is considered an expert in the processing and fabrication technologies for a variety of materials including fiber composites, thermoset and thermoplastic resins, metals, and ceramics. He coordinated the design, installation, and startup of numerous highly automated plastic molding manufacturing systems. He has led many successful new product development programs and market launches, which relied on patented designs, and proprietary manufacturing technologies and equipment. He has a comprehensive experience with computer design software (C-Mold plastic flow, AutoCAD, Solidworks), and hands on knowledge of injection mold presses, machining equipment, testing machines, and assembly equipment. Phil is a member of ASME and SME. He designed and built the patented "Sesame" bench-top automatic injection molding machine, handling the worlds smallest shot sizes.
